Dear Dr Wachtel,
This is to reiterate how pleased I am with my orthodontic progress. In approximately seven months, I have already noticed remarkable changes. Now, more teeth show when I smile. Equally important, my facial features have been enhanced and refined due to your technique. Family and colleagues have recognized the difference and have responded in the affirmative. The effects of your work thus far, have not only initiated an improved smile, but have also given me a more sophisticated appearance.
I am grateful that you were willing to accept the challenge of treating me, an adult patient, in order to create the distinctly beautiful results you provided for your younger patients. Research has shown that promoting a healthy self-concept is essential to adults as well as to children. It is my belief that effective orthodontic care, for individuals who are fortunate to receive it, is an influential factor that cannot be overlooked in the facilitation of greater personal and professional fulfillment.
I recommend you, Dr. Wachtel, to anyone in need if orthodontics. You practice the art and science of your specialty in a way that conveys a genuine concern for your patients. Patiently, I am looking forward to the final outcome of your expertise and enjoying a renewed sense of confidence and satisfaction with each smile.

Child’s front teeth were saved; that’s all a parent could want!

On Friday, March 28th, our nine year old son was injured at baseball practice. The quick thinking of Bill Kubaugh, Carl Kreitzer and my husband, Ron Zack, saved our son from losing his front teeth.
As a scout leader, Bill had the first-aid knowledge to soak the teeth in milk and seek immediate attention. I sincerely thank them for their quick actions. I would also like to thank Mrs. Clifford Wachtel for her kindness in helping me to promptly contact her husband, orthodontist Dr. Clifford Wachtel. Finally I would like to thank Dr Wachtel. He truly treats his patients as if they were his own children. Although he is not well known, he has put smiles on hundreds of patients in this valley. He builds friendships with them. With that relationship, he was able to calm our son and successfully transplant the teeth. He is “Dr. Smile”. Thanks to Bill, Carl, Ron, Mrs. Wachtel and Dr. Wachtel, true heroes that made a boy and his parents smile again.

Dear Dr Wachtel,
I have to admit I didn’t want to do it. I “really “ didn’t want braces. Both you and my husband Hank thought it was a great idea. I wasn’t in a very good place because I was left with few choices possible facial paralysis or lose of my prized teeth. So, I finally half-heartedly agreed to start on this journey.
Flash forward 2 + years and I can tell you that it is one of the best decisions I ever made. Yes, it has taken time and patience both on the part of the patient and the orthodontist. Probably, more on you than me as I know I am not the easiest of patients. I will be grateful to you for your gentle prodding that made me agree.
You have improved my “face value” 100%! Your expertise and ability to bring me through the rough spots have been nothing short of amazing. You care about your patients and not just wires and braces. This both inspires and allows the patient to participate in the process.
But honestly, there are other benefits not just great looking teeth and smile. It gives you a sense of value and there is absolutely nothing better than feeling that you are better. It moves you to be the best you can be. The gift of a lifetime.
Finally for anyone reading this if you think this is being written by a 20 something you are so very wrong. I am the grandmother of three and yes U did not believe that this could work on anymore more than 20. I am proof positive that this can work for slightly older models. I have friends asking me all sorts of questions about makeup creamers etc…when actually it is the orthodontics. It is quite a compliment when these questions are coming from women 5-15 years younger than I am. Asked to do this over again I wouldn’t hesitate one minute.
You are the entire Pittston office have been so friendly, courteous and professional made the journey so much more comfortable for me.
Finally, I cannot thank you enough for my beautiful smile.

Dear Dr. Wachtel
I was under treatment from another orthodontist and during those months I was always anticipating the end results. When I finally got my braces removed the outcome was not what I expected and I wasn’t happy with my smile. I heard about Dr. Wachtel’s work and I decided to try my braces one more time. Even throughout the treatment I was noticing positive results. The end result was fabulous; I wish I would have gone to Dr. Wachtel first.
